City of Tacoma 10-Year Tax Abatement

Loft 616 Townhomes have the10-year tax abatement, under the City of Tacoma’s tax exemption program. That means thousands of dollars in savings to you.

For ten years after the completion of Loft 616, there is NO tax on the building – only your land will be taxed.

This tax abatement is fully transferable. If you sell your Townhome in fewer than ten years, the new buyer will receive the tax benefit for the remaining years.
 
On a $330,000 Townhome, the 10-year savings on property tax may add up to more than $50,000. These savings are based on calculations made using past real estate values and price gains and are not guaranteed.
